For Umbrella Organisations

National oversight.
Provincial reach.
Complete data integrity.

Sobriety Journey is built for national rehabilitation networks. As an umbrella organisation, you get a consolidated view of your entire network — member organisations, centres, and outcomes — with the data governance that national oversight requires.

Where umbrella organisations
sit in the structure.

As an umbrella organisation, you sit one level below the platform and above all member organisations in your network. You see anonymised aggregate data across your entire network — across all provinces, all member organisations, and all their centres. You never see individual patient records. That data belongs to the centres.

A consolidated view of your
entire network.

🗺️

Provincial Coverage

Aggregate outcome data broken down by province across your entire network. See which provinces are under-served and where expansion is needed.

🏢

Member Organisation Overview

Performance indicators for each member organisation in your network — occupancy rates, follow-up compliance, and outcome trends — without accessing their patient records.

🛏️

Network Bed Availability

Anonymised bed counts across your entire network — by province, by bed type (detox, residential, outpatient). Feeds the Grace helpline routing engine automatically.

📞

Helpline Coverage

Total helpline contacts by province, referral completion rates, and urgency distribution across your network — the data DSD requires for Objective 1 reporting.

👶

Underage Prevention Coverage

CBO training counts, schools reached, and peer educator deployment across your member organisations — DSD Objective 2 at the network level.

📊

Longitudinal Trends

Year-on-year outcome trends across your network. Understand whether recovery outcomes are improving, where they are not, and what the data suggests.

The data architecture that
makes national oversight
possible — responsibly.

National oversight without data governance is a liability. Sobriety Journey's architecture was designed from the start to make the right data available at the right level — and nothing more.

🔒

Hierarchical Data Isolation

Patient data is isolated at the centre level. Member organisation data is isolated between member organisations. Umbrella organisations see only anonymised aggregates — enforced at the database level via Row-Level Security. This cannot be configured away.

👁️

No PII at the National Level

Umbrella organisation views contain no personally identifiable information. Not names. Not phone numbers. Not clinical notes. Only counts, rates, and trends — the same data you submit to government.

⚖️

POPIA Accountability Basis

Under POPIA Section 8, umbrella organisations hold accountability as responsible parties for their network. Sobriety Journey's data architecture supports this — you can demonstrate governance without holding the underlying data.

Report to DSD. Report to
your board. With confidence.

📄

National DSD Submission

Consolidated quarterly KPI data across your entire network — beneficiary counts by province, substance distribution, funding source breakdown, and aftercare contact rates. In the format DSD requires.

📊

SACENDU Network Export

Anonymised epidemiological data aggregated across all your member organisations for SACENDU bi-annual submission. No PII. No manual compilation.

🏛️

Board & Governance Reporting

High-level outcome summaries for board meetings — occupancy trends, network growth, and performance against DSD KPIs. Designed to print as a single page.

📈

Network Growth Tracking

Track which member organisations and centres are onboarded, pending, or not yet on the platform — so you have a clear picture of your network's digital maturity.
